What is inSPIRIT?
inSPIRIT is the governance token of SpiritSwap that is based on a vote locking model.
What is vote locking?
In order to receive inSPIRIT, you have to lock SPIRIT tokens for a time period you choose. You can’t unlock your SPIRIT tokens in this period.
Why should I lock my SPIRIT?
By owning inSPIRIT you gain voting power for boosted farms, farm multipliers, receiving participation rewards and weekly distributions.
What happens at the end of a period?
If you don’t choose to extend your delegation, once the delegation period is over you can then unlock your SPIRIT. By design, your inSPIRIT balance will reduce over time. Think of this as a count down clock to your initial SPIRIT delegation being unlocked.
